Hal Pilkington is a London based director of photography. He has shot a range of commercial work for clients such as Amazon Prime Video, Umbro and Sure.

Hal’s approach to storytelling is heavily influenced by his background in the lighting department working on long-form productions for Netflix and the BBC.

A few of his favourite filmmakers: Michaelangelo Antonnioni, Gaspar Noe, Ming-liang Tsai, Andrei Tarkovsky, Roy Andersson, Ozu Yasujiro and Bi Gan.
